The Masaya Rotaract club served as the vital link between the VOSH staff and the people of Masatepe during the 1999 NE VOSH mission to Masatepe, Nicaragua. The rotaracts are the youth version of the Rotary club. They worked very hard to faciltate the flow of patients through the clinic, to translate for the VOSH members who weren't quite as fluent, to help in the dispensary with selecting and fitting frames.
